Hi, my name is Lindsey and I’m a new software developer with a passion for learning and growth. I even completed a Master’s degree in Higher Education/Adult Learning & Development as a result.

A couple years ago, I found myself drawn to the field of software engineering because of its dynamic nature and the opportunities it affords for constant learning and development. I began teaching myself to code for fun and to nourish my passion for learning, and soon found I absolutely loved it. I’ve built front-end, back-end, and full-stack applications, and what I’ve enjoyed most is the process of structuring smaller blocks of sound logic to build up larger, more complex code that is efficient, readable, modular, and clean. I also really enjoy the process of utilizing creativity, strategy, and resilience to work through any problems or “bugs” as they arise.

I recently completed an intensive full-stack software development bootcamp with Springboard, gaining skills in front-end web development, back-end web development, databases, unit and integration testing, data structures, algorithms, and more. I’m now hoping to soon join a determined company where I can work hard to deliver clean, cost-efficient, test-driven code, and serve as a helpful and uplifting teammate to those around me, all while growing my talents in software engineering as a lifelong learner.
